PZ Local is all about improving media literacy skills for families locally.

The project starts with 8 local authorities: Calderdale, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham, Luton, Middlesbrough, Redbridge and Southwark

Through our team of national and local support, families in these communities will be able to access information about how to navigate online spaces to enable them to be safer internet users.

If you run a group or organisation based in one of our pilot areas where we're offering face-to-face support, we will also reach out to you about hosting a session with a community outreach worker.

The pilot scheme is running in: Calderdale, Croydon, Middlesbrough and Redbridge.

• How to speak to your child about their online life
• Online risks - what they can look like
• Setting up parental controls and safer settings
• Being perceptive online and avoiding being scammed
• Dealing with an online problem
