Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Their vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives when a child grieves and when a child dies. With the right help and support, most of these children will not need professional help. What they do need is the understanding of familiar and trusted adults. Schools are well placed to provide this, and with some training, the ability to do so will be greatly enhanced.
