Dr Andrew Hill-Smith
Andrew Hill-Smith has been a consultant child psychiatrist in Surrey and Borders partnership trust since 2000. Andrew is currently holding two part time jobs, one as a community CAMHS consultant and the other as the consultant in a multiagency tier 3 / 4 service – the Hope service. Though not currently in a managerial role, he has been involved in service management for over 10 years most recently holding the position of associate medical director in the trust. He has been elected to the role of the treasurer of the faculty of child and adolescent psychiatry of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since July 2013. With colleagues, he completed an update of RCPsych guidance entitled “managing self-harm in young people”, in October 2014.
