  • Jeremy Sare

    Jeremy is Angelus’s Director for Communications and Operations. He has worked in the drugs field since 2001. He is a former freelance journalist writing regularly for the Guardian, British Medical Journal and New Statesman. Formerly he worked as Head of Drug Legislation and Classification at the Home Office and was also Secretary to the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs. He joined Angelus in 2010.

  • Maryon Stewart

    Maryon founded the charity Angelus when her daughter passed away after taking a mood-altering substance. Angelus was created to help raise awareness about psychoactive substances and club drugs, helping parents have informed conversations with their children. Angelus merged with drug and alcohol prevention charity, Mentor UK, in 2016.
