  Lia Latchford

  Lia Latchford co-leads Purple Drum as part of the Young Women’s Team at Imkaan, a national black feminist organisation dedicated to addressing violence against women and girls. Lia is also Policy and Campaigns Co-ordinator at MsUnderstood, a partnership between Imkaan, the University of Bedfordshire and the Girls Against Gangs project, which aims to improve local and national responses to young people’s experiences of gender inequality and peer on peer abuse.

  Ikamara Larasi

  Ikamara Larasi co-leads Purple Drum for the young women’s team at Imkaan, which sits inside of the MsUnderstood Partnership. As part of MsUnderstood, she is the Research and Communications Co-ordinator. Ikamara is passionate about equality, and is particularly interested in the links between representation and reality.
