OnlyFans is one of the fastest-growing – and most controversial – online content subscription platforms. While its content creators can sell access to anything from cooking tutorials, exercise classes, and music lessons, it has become largely synonymous with the selling of access to pornographic and sexual content.

In the latest episode of Tech Shock, hosts Vicki and Geraldine are joined by clinical psychologist – and returning guest – Elly Hanson, to discuss OnlyFans and its impact on young people. 

They ask if it’s the ‘respectable face’ of the porn industry and whether there is an incentive, by design, for creators to sell sex. They also discuss the effect that OnlyFans might have not just on content creators, but on consumers, too.
