Purpose: To help navigate through information and themes surrounding racial inequality and #BlackLivesMatter. The pack includes suggestions for lesson plans and assemblies. This pack was developed by a range of volunteers. Submit feedback by contacting dei.ideapacks@gmail.com.  

Target Age Range: 11-16 year olds (KS3 - KS4). The pack can be used for younger age groups but please take more care when choosing and adapting content.  

Cross-curricular links: Inspiration for standalone PSHE lessons or segments for History or English lessons. The prominent black figures and key events which have shaped British society could be interwoven into other topics, eg, P.E. - Mo Farah; Music and Dance - Stormzy and Notting Hill Carnival; and Science - John Edmonstone.
